"For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10: 11-13 (KJV)

This story happened just last week to my little 7-year old boy. It is real simple but to me it is wonderful because I am trying to teach my children who Jesus is, and that he loves us and helps us. Well, my 7-year-old is now experiencing his own spiritual life and it makes me feel so peaceful to know that he is in the Lord's hands in this troubled world.

He had the stomach flu last week, and was quite weak in the evening. I brought him a glass of 7-up, and he didn't want to raise his head or anything, so I set it down on the night table and left the room - thinking later he'd like some.

They next day he was up and better. He told me that after I left the room, God lifted his head and shoulders so he could sip the 7-up. I asked if he saw Him. He said, "No mom, you can't see God. I just felt him lift me." What a blessing to know that God is looking after my children even when I am not there! Prayer works, and as a single mom - I am really not single in raising my children!

"But what does it say? 'The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart' that is, the word of
faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your
heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes
unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10: 8-10 (NKJV)
